“A perfect relaxing vacation.”

We had a great time. We had no idea there was so much to see right there. So close to Mt. Rushmore. The room was perfect for the 4 of us and the staff was incredible. So friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.

“Exceptional.”

Location was great, easy access to Hill City, Keystone, Custer and Rapid City. Cabin was nice and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. The owners, Dan and Lora were so nice and friendly. Dan would build a nice Bonfire from 8-10 pm for everyone to enjoy.

“Great location for all the sights to see in black hills.”

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The location for Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Badlands, Custer State Park and Wind Cave was great. Very centrally located. Staff was friendly and helpful. Evenings at the firepit brought resort guests together. A nice extra.

“A good value and would stay again.”

Quaint, Updated nicely, clean with nice extras like the little table just outside our door, patio with BBQ.

“relaxed atmosphere in the Black Hills.”

Easy to and from Hill City, Mount Rushmore. Our group rented a motel room and a two bedroom cottage. We were traveling with three generations with multiple needs. Accommodations were comfortable. The cabins are a charming throwback from the turn of last century mining days and compliments the history of the surrounding area. We visited Crazy Horse monument, Custer State Park (buffalo herd), Mount Rushmore and Dinosaur activities in the area during stay. It was really nice to return to Black Elk in the evening for a bon fire (chilly evenings in mid July!) and glass of wine prior to turning in. The management are truly welcoming and helpful.

“A perfect relaxing spot away from the touristy areas. Great views. And quiet!”

The owners and staff are wonderful! Clean, classy cabins and RV locale. And a fun little brew pub to visit afternoons and evenings. Close to good food, gas and recreation, including Mt. Rushmore and state park.

“Outstanding.”

The staff was friendly and work hard at keeping property well maintained. Great location and convenient to all attractions and sits between Keystone and Hill City.

“Well I would say we were pleasantly surprised.”

This is a small but beautiful place. The owners are fantastic. Centrally located in the heart of all the great sites to see.

“We would chose this property againšŸ‘”

One of the cleanest properties that we have stayed. The grounds were maintained and exceeded our expectations. The location was a short drive to Mount Rushmore. Beautiful area!!!
